The plan is to bring jigs, some rapalas, and maybe some worm harnesses. Trying to keep the weight below 100lbs/person.
I don't even bother with Rapala's or harnesses for walleyes in NW Ontario. All jigs - generally with leeches, minnows if you can't find leeches. Figure 8-10 of each color you want to fish in each weight for jigs (per person), maybe more depending on the length of the trip and length/intensity of fishing.

Some small-med shallow running Rapalas if you want to cast for Smallies, but there's so many fish you don't need to troll up there.

Good luck!

All jigs? I like hearing that.

I take one Plano 3600 box with a assortment of Jigs for My Canada fishing trips to fly in lodges.
Jigs 1/8 1/4 and 3/8 and 1/2oz 90% of the time I use 1/4oz then 5% of the time 3/8oz,
Berkley Power bait works very well also.

Jigs are great. Best when conditions allow a vertical presentation. 28 years for me in Ontario. Let me suggest one more killer idea. When the wind is moving the boat and more often than not it will. The largest size Northland Gum Drop Floaters tipped w a leach. If you can get leaches they are hardy and effective. Various sized bullet or Lindy style weights based on how windy it is ahead of a swivel 3' leader back to the floater. These will IMHO out fish a jig except when you can keep the jig vertical. Drift the reef or hump and repeat. It is a very cheap very effective addition to your tackle assortment.

That sounds like a great tactic. Clarks provide free minnows, but we planned on getting leeches and nightcrawlers to switch it up.

If you don't have any, bring along some marker buoys. I find them to be essential walleye equipment for July and August fishing.
