I've been watching for used boat and used trolling motor just to change out on mine. Not much out there in my neck of the woods. I don't facebook so that limits me too. When I got check out three different dealers this weekend, maybe they have something used as well. I wouldn't mind buying a certified pre-owned especially with the right dealer looking it over.
I honestly don't recall... There was some sort of promotion going at the boat show in Detroit and I there was some sort of Military discount that increased with the size of boat. I wanna say 3k off on the 1900... there was also some sorta deal if you chose mercury power... 2-3k I think Lund and Merc are in bed... Wanted to stay under 30k but those accessories add up quick!

Well I saw a lot of boats today. Torn between the Lund impact 1775 xs and the adventure 1775. The adventure comes in under 30k and 5k cheaper than the impact xs with identical options this includes an evinrude 115 stainless prop and 10 yr motor warranty.
So for 5k, can I live with one less rod locker, 9Ē smaller beam, 9 ga instead of 8 ga Hull. And a trailer that uses 2x3 frame instead of 2x4 however the adventure is ~250 lbs lighter.
Is there any benefit to having a narrower beam? Or anything negative other than space and stability? Do you loose itís typically easy ability to plane out by being narrower or maybe itís easier?
Does the boat turn easier or cut better being narrower or wider? I believe it probably handles ideal conditions better but rougher water/wake itíll be worse being narrow.

Well I took delivery on my new Lund this weekend. I'm pretty excited to get it out on the water next weekend. Couldn't be happier with the service I received from my dealer and ultimately Lund Manufacturing as they hit the lead time I was given.

Thanks all. It turned out pretty sharp in the all white.

The dealer I went through must have a pretty good connection at BRP. They sold me that H.O. for $300 more than a Pro XS. They ordered the boat without a motor and rigged it themselves. They do it often I guess.
They actually gave me the option of Etec Merc or Yamaha but the SHO was $3400 more. That's about 11% of what I paid and couldn't justify it even for resale value. (plus the 10 yr warranty from BRP).
