I went through a few smokers before I bought my Cookshack. Sure wish I would have discovered it sooner. If I ever wear it out I'll buy another, but since it's about 15 years old and not showing any signs of age I don't think it'll happen anytime soon.
That reminds me, I have to get some salmon fillets out of the freezer to smoke up for Christmas gifts. They're the most popular request for fish that I get so they must be good.
