So has the few folks who left Ranger to start a new company produced any boats yet? Forget the name they chose.

They will be debuting a glass bass boat at the Bassmaster Classic this year and a glass multispecies at the Classic the following year.

As far as what they have come out with so far in aluminum, IMHO, they look very nicely built and top quality, but just sooooooooooo lacking in design appeal. They kinda look like something the military would use. Just bland and that boxy, blah look. Reminds me of glorified Bass Trackers with even less aesthetic appeal.

I agree they are plain. I had a Ranger built back in July of this year. But I can tell you Ranger Quality isn’t what it used to be. So if Vexus does step up they game if I ever buy again that’s what it’ll be.

Just read this thread. I saw Vexus boats up close (I crawled all over several) this last month at a boat show. Plain and boxy is a poor description at best. In addition, the fit and finish was impeccable.

I also talked with the senior VP Keith Daffron, Forrest Wood's son in law? He told me 90 of the 100 and something employees are former Ranger people.

Funny how this thread was brought back up the day before the fiberglass reveal,,,,,
