I have one in a 30.06 caliber. Love the gun!I wouldn't say its a tack driver but I am less than an inch for grouping.

I took a small doe at 323 yards a few years back with it. It's been good enough for everything I do with it.

I tried the Hornaday rounds and some others but have settled on the Federal Fusion's. Although I am not a big fan of federal ammo, the Federal Fusion's run well through mine.

Well I have opted to leave mine in the safe for this deer season. Not enough time to get it figured out. So it looks like my trusty Savage will be with me opening morning
