just heard that the NGPC is shutting down big mac to Colorado boats this season but haven't heard the official word just yet.

wow first post and I am starting off on fire

Wait Wait they will allow them on the water, But only if they can prove that they didn't vote to make Colorado a 420 state!!!

Really. That's too bad. I'm sure Colorado would close the elk hunt to Nebraska residents if they weren't getting $600 bucks for a bull tag, so no reprisals are anticipated.

What about the lake?

aww shucks don't hunt Colorado for wapit . I will do some checking on big mac I have a few buddies that have been down and let you know what I find out.

I did hear that pathfinder was all but open last week. and they were pulling lake trout off the banks.

ALSO sounds like there should be plenty of water in all the lakes along the north platte going by the BLM website snow pack is good and they are predicting above normal run off last I had heard.

Okay, thanks. I watch the snow pack in Wyoming and Northern Colorado closely to see how it will affect Mac.

I also do a lot of pheasant hunting around McCook and was pleased to see that area getting some moisture this winter.

Been a long dry spell.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not much for night fishing anymore. I was out just recently until almost midnight and the glare from shore lights on the water made vision really difficult. I think I am a sunup to sundown fisherman now.

But, I will give it a go when I get out there.
