I just switched to the hi vis yellow Power Pro..... with a fluro leader tied in. Last weekend was my first trip out with it on the river and I loved it! Even in daylight and good visibility the hi vis really helped with identifying exactly what my line was doing. Highly recommended!

I've never tried braid for jigging, I use the old stand by - mono for me. I like the Sufix Siege and Elite

Any time that I am pitching jigs close and or to shallow water, I will use mono every time.

I always have a rod in the boat that is rigged with braid, but for this close boat work and shallow water work, I want the stretch of the mono line.

However, if I am doing deep vertical jigging, or very long distance casting with heavier jigs, then I will likely pick up the rod with braid to minimize stretch.

Take care

Default Power Pro

I only use 10# power pro. It doesn't frey like fireline. Yellow or white is good for jigging.
