Question Viewing Lakemaster Chip on Computer

It would be so convenient to view my Lakemaster chips on a PC vs clunking around on the sonar unit.
Does anyone know of a way to view the charts? I know they have Contour Elite but it's data is not the latest and does not cover all my areas of interest.

Contour elete has Lakemaster HD surveyed lakes. When I bought CE I called and asked if the lakes I was most interested in were the current mapping. They were. Call and ask. That is the only way to use LM on your PC.

They do not offer Contour Elite for the Ontario region.

You did not mention Ontario. The links I gave you were for where you live. You might want to look at Navionics web app for Sonar charts( their crowd source maps). You may be able to use it with a PC type program for that.

Problem is they have not done many surveys in Canada. It is a big world out there. HB has recently, at least with Solix incorporated Navionic's features. For Canada I think that is your best bet for the time being. Bob

I have a LM Minnesota card from 2011. That card has a program called humbird1.exe in the top level directory. I launch that .exe and a LM mapping program starts and I can view all the lakes on that chip on my PC. The user interface is real clunky but one can maneuver thru the lakes and view the contour lines.

Look thru you card/chip to see if that executable exists. If it does you may be able to view maps on your PC.
