I'm happy I got to fish the Rainy River on Tuesday, before the 3 days of cold rain started. Caught 5 walleye and 2 lake sturgeon. Going back to Rainy on Sunday.

I'm glad for so many things, but most recently for the buds erupting on all of the trees and for all of the ducks stopping by now that the ice has melted in the ponds here in the Ninety-Seven Acre Wood. Gotta love spring!

Thankful for & anticipating our 21st return season to the South Shore of LOTW. Only wish the border to the Ontario side of the lake was open.

I am thankful for......
Nearly 54 years on this planet, with reasonable good health.
21+ years with a good woman by my side.
Having been taught to appreciate the outdoors, and other “finer things” in life.
Integrity. Without it I would have nothing.
I am able to work, I have a good job. There are many that can’t say that.
I am blessed with what I need, and a lot of stuff that are toys, wants. Many can’t say that.
I am blessed to have the upbringing that I did, even though it didn’t seem like it at the time.
Walleye Central, without it, I wouldn’t know nearly what I do about fishing and boating.

I’m great full my grandson is going back to school the end of this month. The little guy needs socialization with kids his age and not just grandparents and parents like he’s had the past year. This past year has really hamstrung a disproportionate amount of kids. No doubt there are kids, A students, that have the ability to stay on task.......and then there are all the others

I'm thankful that we finally had a thunderstorm yesterday evening to knock down some of this freakin pollen. I've never seen anything like it. There was about a 1/2" thick layer of it covering the the entire boat ramp area where I had to trailer the boat on Thursday. I had to pull it to another boat ramp and dunk it to remove some of the thick stuff.

I'm also thankful that I was able to go fishing the other day to experience the miserable pollen.
