Purchased A boat with co-pilot. I dont have a manual. Anyone know where I can locate or download a manual. I dont know how to use it. I hit the button on top of the motor and the remote works however turns motor very slow in short burst, Also do I pluge foot control into different motor outlet. It has three to plug into. Not sure why?

V2 power drive round plugs on the foot control & co-pilot or oval flat plugs?
One plug from the co-pilot plugs into the power drive plug.
The other to the foot pedal. You don't need to use or even connect the foot control. The plugs on the co-pilot should be labeled.
Replace the remote battery as well

The button on the top of the motor IF red is to enable & disable the AutoPilot compass feature, not copilot.
Autopilot = enable it and point the motor in the direction you wish to travel and the compass with try to keep you on track, you still can control the prop speed and make steering adjustments anytime.
Just remember if you steer/change direction and the autopilot is enabled, it will now continue the same last know direction you just provided.

Default Thank you.

Very good to know. I just hope that after replacing batteries that the remot will control the moter faster than now. When I hit left, the TM positions left but in short spurts. Thanks again

There are pdf user guides online for the MK trolling motors, not knowing which one you have. Since minnkota did at one time also sell a factory installed copilot motor with AP, maybe with a search of the net you will find a basic copilot users guide within one of the power drive guides. Other wise Minnkota does have the FAQ that answers most.
Here are links to two other sites you may want to search for more guides.
One is for the PD v2 without AP
This other is the older model power drive with oval plugs & AP
None of these have the copilot instructions within them
