Freezers have enough walleye for crab stuffed walleye till next year. Wife also caught a bonus 35" northern which was the surprise catch for the day.
Would you mind sharing with me your "Crab Stuffed Walleye" recipe..... PM me if you want....

Thanks,

if you look on page 51 you will see the one I use. its basically like stuffed flounder and very good. When I clean my fish I zipper them and am basically left with 2 pieces of meat. if the back strap is to thick I will fillet in so its not as thick. I basically piece it all together and in the end it looks like it comes right out of the store. There is normally very little left over. I guess you can actually use any recipie for stuffed flounder. I love crab so I make sure I have a lot of stuffing in the fillets. Enjoy.

I hope you like it, we do.

On a different note, we went to our local Dunhams today and I picked up 2 Berkley Cherrywood 7' Medium rods and 2 Quantum reels. Both the rods and reels were on sale and for a 40$ set up they should make a nice setup. Im hoping to get to try them soon but if not they will be ready for whenever we get to go next.

caught a couple, not like spring but it was nice to get out. Level was a little higher then we like and color was to brown, also got a couple catties and 1 decent smallie...all in all in was a good trip and definably better then being at work..not sure how much we are going to get out anymore. Bowhunting will be my main priority for the next 3 weeks and then coyote trapping so it may be while till I can get out. Either way it was a good day.
