Default Green Bay report

With the continued windy days, the water temperatures have fluctuated from shore to shore, with warmer water being pushed from east to west, and back. The best bite has been in the mud, with cranks and crawler harnesses both taking walleyes. The rocks around the lower bay have been fairly consistent, as the water temperatures do not fluctuate as much as the middle and upper portions of the Bay. Pitching shiver minnows to rocks and trolling cranks have been best. Perch fishing has been outstanding, with limit catches the norm. Don't forget, there is a 15 fish limit on perch on Green Bay. Muskie fishing also has been good, with many 35-40" caught and several trophies over 50". The size limit on the Bay is 54", but I've yet to have a customer take one home in my 5 years of guiding for these monsters. Don't forget, take a kid fishing and be safe!!
