Help on trailer tires

Just rented a U-Hale trailer, and was wondering about a flat. Guy said, no spare, call the 800 number. Tires are 8 ply, so you would have to bring alot of gear. International Falls to Dryden is 150 miles, and on our cell phone, NO RECEPTION at all. Good luck Doug

Thanks for the post. Just wondering whether the UHaul location you rented from was a larger facility that also has storage rooms or perhaps a smaller center that rents trucks and trailer as a side line.
The UHaul facility in my town is a side line business to a landscaping supply operation.
My thinking is that the larger UHaul facilities might have the spare tire I am looking for. On the other hand, someone did post that perhaps UHaul will not provide a spare for liability issues.
Guess the best option for me to is to stop in a larger UHaul operation and ask the manager to rent the trailer with the spare.
