2013 Yarcraft 186 FX with a 2013 200 Merc Optimax would run the same at 58-60 mph with the same DAH worked 21P Tempest Plus.

2018 Yarcraft 219TFX with a Merc 350 Verado runs 64-67 mph with a Croxtox worked 22.5P Bravo FS.

I know of a couple 2012-2014 209TFXs with 300 Verado’s that are near the mid 60s. Somewhere around 2015 or so Yarcraft added a little more hook to settle the front which slowed them a touch, not that they’re slow but from what I’ve heard new ones with the V8 300 Pro XS’s are running lower 60s.
holy crap that 219 and 186 is cooking.

Out of all the Brands Skeeter, Warrior, Lund , Yarcraft, Ranger, Nitro etc. Which have you had experience with and which was the fastest boat with a 250HP outboard? Can include 300HP but would like to focus on 250HP.
60-62 mph with my 2016 Ranger 620. 250 verado pro and kicker.

Two things you never get reliable info on. Top speed of a boat, and MPG of the truck towing it......

Screw off, I don't exaggerate my numbers. Both of these photos are full fuel, full gear, two people on a reservoir with little to no flow (1,800' MSL). Matter of fact the 219 had a full live-well also......It actually ran almost 68 mph before the kicker, 5 battery, and few other items were rigged on it. You don't have to believe me but feel free to come out and try to run me down on any tournament start

Our 2080 with the Mercury Pro XS 250, 1/2 tank fuel, 15 HP kicker, two people and a calm day with the GPS we have hit 57.8 MPH. With a pro at the helm it would probably do a little better. I have talked with other 2080 owners at the ramp and they are surprised at the MPH, so how much is attributable to the 10" hydraulic jack plate and the batteries being under the jump seats I can't say. Just another data point for you. Cheers, Dixiedawg

In just over a year since I bought my 2020 620FS Cup (with Mercury 250hp Pro XS), I believe I've had it over 50 mph twice - and not much over 50 mph, at that. I don't know what its top end is, and I don't really feel any urgency to find out. I haven't yet spent much time on truly big water (though I look forward to doing so a lot more in the future) so I haven't felt a need for maximum speed, and I prefer to fish on days with some wind (there's a reason they call it "walleye chop") so maximum speed wouldn't be particularly safe, either. I care much more about its smooth, dry ride, which continues to impress me and my passengers.

I used to be very interested in speed - even got my driver's license pulled for a while because of it - but I outgrew it while still a fairly young man.

Gerry

I think you’d agree, it depends on whether you’re asking who’s fastest when it’s flat calm, or who’s fastest in 2-3 ft’ers.

Speaking from my experiences in a couple, the Vexus is definitely the fastest but it is a wet ride in anything more that 2' chop.

I really miss the performance of my bass boats. I'd like to have a Skeeter or Ranger bass boat with a 620 windshield.
