Default Yamaha F150 issue - squealing

I have a 2012 Yamaha F150 on my boat. Last season I noticed a dry squealing sound during idle, immediately after running across the lake. The noise will go away after 10-30 seconds...
I have searched the internet and this sounds like maybe it is the driveshaft bushing. It seemed like the responses were 50/50 on whether it was an issue or not.
Can anyone here provide clarity on how severe this issue might be?

Thanks,

This is a well known issue with the F-150 2006 and prior.
The harmonic balancers are an issue and yamaha is not doing a recall/contact. But try to contact Yamaha with you're serial # and they may offer something.

Don't believe it's an issue. Search Yamaha squeal. They have a lube just for that.

I had the same sound today after I came to idle from a 40min cruise. Has me wondering.

My Df 200 Zuk was doing that a couple of years ago, so I bought some Yamaha WR No.2 and lubed the drive shaft and carrier bushing, no problems for the last two years.

If it's not issue why they are sharing the repair? Not all the time but if you're dealer is good on negociations. The lube is a bandage not a cure.

nope, lube is the cure, water gets on shaft and washes grease off shaft journals and bushings, remove lower unit and grease. squeal solved, I know from experience, F80 and F150 same issue
