Default Winnie Fishing Report

This week I’ve been fishing Cutfoot Sioux and Winnie, the walleye and northern bite on Winnie is good and the northern bite on Cutfoot Sioux is good as well. If anyone needs more info let me know.

Have not been up there in a couple of years. I used to go the last week of September for about 20 years straight, but that ended about 5 to 10 years ago due to losing many in the 8-person fishing party, etc.
Anyway, I stayed at Cut Foot Sioux Inn, I believe 2 years ago and it seemed that the pike size and population was a bit down to say the least. They now want you to keep a bunch of short pike with the newer regulations, as I recall.
So I was wondering if you ran across any wide body pike into the mid 30's like I used to?
I typically throw musky baits at them. Both in Cut Foot and on the big lake.

Thanks

I stayed at the Cut Foot Sioux Inn as well. I caught several pike, the biggest was approx. 27" but I didn't target northerns I was after walleye's. Most of the northerns i caught, probably around 20 of them were caught on Cut foot, maybe 1/2 a dozen were caught on the big lake. Most of the ones i caught were healthy looking fish but none were over 30".
