Default Vexilar FL-8 and Terrova

Does anyone know if there is a way to make a Vexilar FL-8 work with the US 2 on the Terrova....I have had one sitting in the garage cabinet for years and am thinking of using it for a bow mount unit. I would think I could replace the plug end of the unit with one from an adaptor for HB or L? Any thoughts?

You need the MKR-US2-7 adapter. Do a quick google search and you will find it.
