Too bad. Enjoyed his shows. Thinking about the fishing injury and infection that did him in. When I go I think I would like it to be fishing related! A bunch of guy's might say in bed but I am past most of my wild nights anyway. RIP Jerry!

One of the better fishing shows that has ever been aired on TV....IMO. Looked forward to watching it when I had an opportunity. Another fisherman gone from my era....

I always admired his signature sign-off to his show... something along the lines of "this is dedicated to my dad, who always had time to take me fishing"...or something close to that. He was genuine.
