Da Bears might end up with Wentz from Philadelphia in a big trade if the Colts don’t out bid them.

They are saying on the NFL network that Mahomes ran for 497 yards behind the line of scrimmage yesterday. Apparently they have a GPS tracker in his shoulder pads.

According to NextGenStats, via Seth Walder of ESPN.com, Mahomes ran 497 yards before throwing the ball or being sacked on Sunday night. It was the highest total for any quarterback in the 2020 season.

Second on the list? Mahomes in Week Five, against the Raiders. That day, Mahomes ran for 495 yards before throwing the ball or getting sacked.

I thought I was actually watching the Chicago Bears last night. ....That is... The Andy Reid "SCHEME" gone bad. ...ie... Matt Nagy who has been trying to emulate it since he was hired. If everything isn't PERFECT ,...in an Andy Reid SCHEME,,, it doesn't work. Doesn't matter who the QB is. Had the BEARS drafted Mahomes (like they could have )... Unless they had fixed everything else, especially the O-Line , The Bears would still only be an 8-8 team,,OK..maybe 10-6.

Carson Wentz will be a bad investment for the Bears. But Nagy and Pace desperate to keep their jobs,so they gotta do SOMETHING . Won't work.
Bears should have already fired Nagy and Pace. Both ARE total failures.
Even considering Wentz further proves it, and will just further mortgage future rebuild, draft equity, etc with what it will cost.

I myself completely enjoyed the game. No big fan of TB or Brady , but I loved watching that Mahomes kid running for his life all night. And so like the Bears so often, limited to field goals.
