I cannot replace the topics from the "old" board to the new board. The scripts are not compatible at all.

I will be setting up a search engine for the "archives" on the old board. There is several years of information there that is worth saving.

I'll try to get to that in the next week or so.

There is no way to make this painless, but I think the new format will lend itself to better distribute the information and load it quicker.

All in all, it's a much better script.

How does one go about becoming a member again as opposed to being a guest user?I tried to log on but was denied.I'm sure most or all would like to keep their registered names,What's the scoop?

Thanks.

All ya gotta do is register.
Go to the lobby at: https://www.walleyecentral.com/cgi-bin/dcf/dcboard.cgi

On the right side is a "first time user register here" link

Click it and fill out the form.

Read the FAQ, they contain information on the "perks" this script offers over the other one.

This one will "remember" who you are so you only have to register and login one time.

Default RE: What the H#$l Happened?

I filled in all of the forms but it won't accept my e-mail address which is muskyhoun@hotmail.com so I won't be able to register. This is my permanent e-mail address used for my business or for anything for that matter. Why do you have it set up not to accept an e-mail address of this type? I get the anonymous user message. I'm not planning to change my e-mail address to become a registered user and if I can't register I won't be allowed to post on this board. All of the other boards accept my e-mail address.
