Default CenterHill Lake 11/01-11/06/2020

Made my fall trip up to East Central Tn to fish for walleyes and smallies. The nicest thing I could say about the fishing is that it was lousy. Not one fish, not one hit, it was that bad. Water level was down about 8 feet which is normal for this time of year. Water temp was 67-68* and was pretty clear. Trolled and cast deep running cranks and swimbaits, used every size and color I had. Fished locations I've caught fish over the years. Spoke with other fishermen I ran across and it was the same for them. Spoke to a couple of guys that were up on Dale Hollow and the fishing is the same. Oh well, time to get the boat set up for Bass and Crappie fishing this winter down here. Will see what happens next spring.

Well darn! That’s not good news. Water temps too warm? Sunny the whole time? What do ya think?

How did you fish for them? Night or day fishi? The bottom fish look like they might hit a jig or spoon.

Default Dale Hollow

I just bought a place on Dale Hollow and I'm going to give it my all to learn how to catch them down there!
