Mid Lac Seul report
This was our first trip to Canada, we stayed at SWWL, had a great time and fantasic service, couldnt ask for better. It seemed every call our guide made was the correct call to keep us on fish.
To put this in perspective this was our first time walleye fishing. The first fish of the trip was a 29 inch walleye. Fished LS 6/2 - 6/6 Sat - Wed clear no breeze to a light breeze mid 70's, hit low 80's by end of the trip. Biggest fish Walleye 29" Smallmouth 19 1/2" Used Jigs with minnows most of the trip. We caught lots and lots of fish. Too many to keep an accurate count, but know we caught and released over 80 walleyes one afternoon, all over 18 inches with the largest that day of 26 1/2. We caught a lot of fish over the slot this trip. Scale of 1-10 would rate this trip a 9 only because we did not get any large pike (but hardly fished for them) I cant express just how good the service was from the entire team. They were all extremly well organized. THANKS Silver Wheel Lodge for a great time! P.S. - we did catch a ton of small mouth as well |
