Default Child Guitar Prodigy

I often spend late weekend nights listening to various performers on YouTube.

A few weeks ago I came across this kid. His dad took him to an AC/DC rock concert when the kid was seven years old. After the concert, the kid told his dad he wanted to make his living by playing the guitar like the guy on stage. They got him a guitar. Two years later, he was appearing on stage with many of the best in music. You can see from watching that he really feels the music. You can see by some of the guitars in the background of his room that he sponsors by some of the biggest instrument makers in the business.

Here is he on stage with Carlos Santana. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzcU7MVbvXM

It's great when young kids can pick up on real music and excel at it. I had worked as a vendor in various electronic retail chain stores, the job often involved interaction with customers. When the Guitar Hero game was a popular thing, and parents came shopping for it, I would sometimes encourage them to maybe reconsider , that maybe they should buy a real guitar and amp for the kid, Instead of them WASTING their time playing this game , they might actually like learning how to play for real.

This almost got me kicked out of the stores a few times !

Hopefully Taj will have a successful long term career as he matures,.as did people like Joe Bonamassa and Derek Trucks.
