Default 2008 Ranger trailer tongue jack.

I have a 2008 Ranger Angler single axle trailer and the tongue jack is very difficult to crank up and down even though it has been greased several times over the years. It is made by Dutton -laison.It is a 1250lb tongue jack. What can i put on it to replace it? I can not find the correct jack on their website. It is in the middle of the trailer and when it is stowed it sits horizontal in the centre trailer frame. Thanks.

Give them a call Monday with whatever information you have as far as dimensions and/or model number. They might have a replacement that will work or parts to rebuild your current jack.

Give Ranger Parts department a call @ 1 800 724 7273 to order a replacement. Its pricey at $90.00 plus shipping & tax.
Be prepared for a long hold time .

The price is steep but after trying one of the Fulton F2 I have them on my three trailers.

Here is my jack , does Fulton stock this? The gear in the top of the jack is totally mangled, it seems this jack is to light for my boat or this gear would not be stripped.I am not looking forward to being on hold all day with Ranger from Canada. There is no model number on it just the manufactured date Feb 2 /07.

Why bother with another one like you have ? I would replace it with a new Fulton rated for 1600 lbs.

www.wholesalemarine.com has a Fulton ful-xp15 that looks identical and has a 1500# rating.
$87.49 plus shipping.

Does that one just hold on to the trailer with a clip. Something like a pipe welded on to the trailer. Otherwise Dutton makes a bunch of clamp on 1500 lb winch’s. https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Tra...7ELainson.aspx

Did you ever find the correct replacement jack? I would like to replace mine on a 2008 Ranger also.

I'd like to replace mine with a Fulton also. I just can't find one with the same center trailer mounting system as the OEM D&L jack on my Ranger trailer. I'm guessing these center mounted jacks are unique to the Ranger Trail trailers. My jack looks identical to the one Big Rod has. I like the looks of the Fulton FUL-XP15, but don't see how it could be used as a replacement for the OEM jack. Am I missing something?
