Default Advice on motor for Nav 165

I am looking at the Navigator 165 Tiller. I am wondering what you guys think between the Yamaha 60hp vs 75hp. I know the advice to always max out the hp. However, I am wondering if the 60hp will troll down slower than the 75hp. Will I be able to troll down to 1.1-1.3 with both/either of these motor on the Nav 165? I am planning on pairing it with a Prestige trailer.

Any other thoughts/recommendations/opinions welcome.

Starting to get excited!

Thanks.

Both the F60 and the F75 have the same 750 idle rpm, but the F75 has a lower gear ratio in the lower unit (2.31 vs 1.85) , so the F75 will actually turn the same pitch prop slower at idle. According to Ed's, there's only a $700 price difference between the two.
Get the 75. Better to have and not need, then need and not have.

You're going to like that trailer. I've got a Prestige under my Lund 1700 Explorer. Loading is a real snap. Your boat just centers itself between those 6 bunks. Their customer service is also great.

I forgot to mention. Max out your hp. I bought my 17' lund with a 60 E-Tec. The following season I moved up to a 75 E-Tec. While the 60 was OK the 75 is 100% better. I tried to save a few dollars and it wound up costing me more in the long run.

I would go with the 75. I have the same boat, only a console with a 90hp E-tech and a Prestige trailer. Love the trailer. I wish I had a 115 but max hp on the boat will not allow it. It is a big boat so definately go with the bigger motor. You will not regret it!!
