I could simply type the word HOT and leave it at that. With the ice out of the Oconto area, the bite has been great. Lots of walleyes caught and, with a limit of only 1 fish 15" or bigger on the Bay, most are being released. Casting rippin raps with custom colors and standard colors are taking the most fish. Pitching ringworms, moxies, and pulse-R's are taking many fish too.

On the Fox, the nighttime trolling bite, along with casting raps and jig/plastics or minnows has been good. A reminder that the limit of the Fox is 1 fish 28" or bigger. Similar to the Bay, most fish are being released.

I understand the Oconto ramp is closed. Where can I launch?

They opened Oconto back up this past Friday. You didn’t ask, but Bayshore on the east side also opened back up this past weekend.

Thanks for the info. The harbour cam there has been down. Before that I could see the barricades.
