Default Sure is quiet around here....

Did everyone cast too many jigs last year? Too many plastic worms? Now (If you are like me) you have to live to be about one hundred and ten years old to use up your current stash?

I had a massive garage sale this last summer, so I can start all over again!

The thought that never leaves my mind is: you just never know when that certain lure or color is going to be "The One".

Got out this weekend to test some new jigs I tied. The crappies are in the shallows and just can't leave these alone.

Interesting head design, not familiar with it,what is it called, etc? Did you have any twisting of the marabou around the spinner, my past experience with somewhat similar setup resulted in twists, marabou being as flexible as it is.

The heads are made by Ric's Fish Hawk. Wahoo Fishing Excitement has them also. I have had issues with the marabou getting into the spinner. The fix was to bend the swivel down wards away from the body. It gives it more room.

Thanks, Steve. Have you tied any using bucktail rather than marabou?
