The better question is how far can it tow it? There is a video of someone using a Tesla Model X to tow an aluminum trailer with a race car. I think it took them 3 x as long to get the car home as it did when they were driving solo.

Batteries have come a long way, but they have a long way to go before they will make a useful tow vehicle.

yeah, towing is crap for those electrics. I think the best overall system would be a plug in hybrid with say 60-80 miles of range, then a gas engine to either power the vehicle, or to act like a generator.

If you are running a little short of power, you could plug in your spare ION X battery to get you the rest of the way.

That is a hard no, my rig will never be towed by a Rivian as long as I own it.

I just saw a sticker on a truck window that said, "Real Trucks Don't Have Sparkplugs"

He must have been talking about this Rivian...
