RTIC 50% off right now. I use mine every week and it holds ice all day in the Southern heat.

I just bought a "Lifetime" brand hard-side cooler from Walmart. $78. Love the latches and used it on a recent fishing trip - kept the original bag of ice (small one) for 4 days.

It's sturdy (can sit on it, stand on it), doesn't slide around. Has a nice padded handle tot carry it too.

It's heavy when full - but all of the "super coolers" are. It's perfect for the boat as long as you're not lugging it long distance.

I don't know about soft sided coolers but regular coolers many on line videos claim the only differences between a Yeti and. Coleman is the insulated lid, bear proof locks and the name plate.

Great Stuff spray foam
Paddle lock
3D printer

I agree on the RTIC Coolers. They are nearly an exact knockoff from YETI. I used a soft sider a few weekend ago and was quite impressed. A fraction of the cost of YETI.

I've had an RTIC 30 and 40 soft cooler since they came out a few years ago.

They don't get babied and are used all of the time. Neither have a single tear or hole after hundreds of uses.

Highly recommended.

Lube the zipper occasionally to make it easier to open.

Another vote for RTIC for our group/family; soft and hardside. We don't baby them and they are half the price.

I have this and love it. Great cooler have owned it for 2 years. The inner has a thick plastic that wipes easy too.

I have both a soft sided Yeti and RTIC. Both are great coolers and work beyond what I need. But even for the price, my nod goes to the Yeti.

Yep. I've seen quite a few tests and the cheap Coleman hangs right with the ridiculously priced Yeti and others.
