Thanks, that is what I wanted to hear.

I've pulled boats (and other light duty trailers) for decades. Including this same long distance trip. My enclosed landscaping trailer has electric brakes, they make a huge difference in stop and go traffic around town. I see electric brakes as plus when traveling at interstate speeds, never know when an emergency stopping situation may occur.

Ironically the local "trailer" repair guy says they don't make electric brakes for boat trailers. I just hope I have time to order (and have shipped), with time to install myself before the trip.
