Thanks for the reply. I dont need a trailer quite that heavy. Was looking at something like a Shorelander SLB18. Any guess on a price?

Hey HRG,

Does the 1650 Tiller take a 90 now? Geez, you ought to be pushing 43 anyway with that, maybe skirting 45 with a perfect setup. You'll have to start a new thread with the deets.

Nope, still 60hp max for the tiller. The SC & Sport are rated to a 90 now, though.

Ah okay, Jerry's sports had it listed at 90 max for the tiller. Probably just a typo on their part and no official update from Lund yet.

You'd have way too much fun with a 90 tiller handle anyway.

I just wish Mercury wouldn't have ignored all my requests to develop a 1.25L 3-cylinder 300# 60/75hp Optimax. I could use that right about now,,,,,,,,,

Default Slight Change

Just got off the phone with my dealer...Paid the deposit and planning on when I can go pick her up. I made the last minute decision to change the 798 hd Si to an 898C SI Combo...I think the extra money is worth the size difference(at least I hope so). Looks like I might be able to go pick her up on the 31st and then bust my butt to get to Lincoln in time for a 2:30 kickoff on Saturday. Should be awesome... a new boat and a new season...GO BIG RED!!!
