Does it look like he may get a bushy coat?

Both his parents had moderate coats. Not tight but not shaggy.

Well he is going to have a lot more coat than mine. When you see that longer hair on the edge of the ears that is a good sign the coat will be on the long side. Not always a bad thing.The long hair tends to collect burrs so carry a comb in your pocket. Its not hard to strip the coat and get it shorter, just takes some time. If you do decide to groom him don`t use a clippers. When you clip the hair it tends to grow back softer. When you strip the coat it tends to grow back harsher or more wirier. When the time comes if you should want to do that i would be happy to show you how. Wiredog

What do you hunt with your Brits? I have a 2 year old Brit and hunt quail...Really enjoy watching my dog hunt and how excited he gets to go hunting! That's the most fun for me.
