Great tribute. Of course we all appreciate the commitment to every common soldiers call to duty for the defense of our country and citizens.

I wasn't suppose to be born in this time. The older I get the more I feel further from people/ society. I'll raise my boys and love my wife and someday I'll pass too. It's not important I am remembered by people I don't know and in fact I would feel weird if I was. My purpose now is to raise my boys to be good men. I will be remembered by them and that's all any father/ Marine needs.

And fish, a lot of fishing.

The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.

Go ahead and thank him....he'll hear you. Sorry for your loss. I didn't know him, but I send my thanks as well.
