TRITON New 20 ft Boat Announcement end of July

Hey waresdom, see u posted a few new pics of the boat at the ramp. How did it run? Any updates would be awsome, mine coming in 2 weeks. Still buying stuff left and right , cannot wait to mount it all.did u get the factory cover, if so how does it trailer on the freeway? Thanks for your info so far.

It ran great. It was chilly but there wasn't anything stopping me. I put about 2 and half hours on the motor getting it broke in. Varied my rpms between 2600-4500 with the trim fully down. My buddy said to make it work and that I did. At the end I trimmed it up to stretch her legs a little and I hit 60 at 5400. I backed off then. I didn't want to go WOA. It felt like she had a lot left in the tank. The setup for engine height and prop need to be tuned yet. As for trailering it was good. I've never had a boat that needed a dual axle. Big difference for me. There's not as much weight on the tongue obviously. The weather is supposed to be awesome this weekend so I'll be out a lot. I have to break in the kicker yet and fine tune my graphs. It's supposed to be a little breezy too so I'll see how it handles the rougher water. Should be fun! I also hope to fish!

Hey Waresdom, wondering if you have any additional updates on the new boat after more time on the water, speed, rough water handing, etc. Looking at purchasing one of these in the near future. Any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I've been out the last two weekends. The boat has ran great. Unfortunately it hasn't been rough either weekend which is odd. Winnebago usually gets rocking and rolling pretty easily. I have about 6-7 hours on the boat. Still varying rpms. I did switch props and I'm getting 61 at 5700rpms. I still feel the boat has a lot left in it. In fact I know it does because on my test ride we hit 65 with a really fast hole shot. We'll get it dialed in soon. As far as fishability and ride in general it's awesome. So much storage and features that are really handy. I can't say enough about the Verado on the back either. Quiet and powerful. If you have any more questions shoot me a message.
