Curious how much first hand experience people have with this boat? Tried to do as much research as possible but haven't been able to find to much. I have crawled around in one but I'm more curious to the overall ride and performance in all conditions. I've test drove one as well and that gave me a little more insight but just looking to hear other people's first hand experiences good or bad. Thanks!

I fished out of a 206 in a tournament for a day. I really liked it and when I upgrade to glass on my next boat it will be on my short list. I really liked how it handled. Seemed to be very quick to turn when trolling or when casting and jigging. It won't handle big water as well as a 216 or other 21ft boat boat but it's no slouch either. The cutouts in the front deck are nice for sticking your rods out of the way between spots. Lots of storage. The layout is well thought out. And last but not least you can buy one loaded out for a good chunk of change less than a 21ft because of the 250hp rating.

I had a 206 last year and a 216 the prior year, I was truly amazed that the 206 actually performed quite well in some really bad weather on lake Erie. 4-6' waves and at no time did we feel unsafe. While I would recommend not going out in those conditions, it was comforting knowing the boat handled the situation well. I concur with the previous posts, great boat, not a 21' boat but a great performing 20. Specific question please don't hesitate to ask or PM

I haven't have any first hand experience with them but I highly encourage you to stop in to The Boat Doc in Lomira or at least give them a call. I know the owner ran one for the 2016 season so he will have first hand experience both in the rigging and the performance of them.

Well I thought I’d update this thread and happily say I decided to purchase a 206 Fishunter and couldn’t be happier I did...I’m truly impressed with its performance compared to other major name brands. Couldn’t be happier. Anybody looking for a 20ft glass boat should really consider checking out the 206.
