Default packages stolen

I just had two packages stolen. Saw it on my security cam. Thieves are getting smarter by covering their faces and parking in a way you can't see license plates.

We have on our addresses to deliver to our side door but often the delivery people never read that part esp this time of year with overloaded and temp workers.

I guess I will start having things delivered to work.

I just heard that last holiday season 26 MILLION packages were stolen,.hard to believe its that high of a number.

I worry about this also. Not sure what can be done when your not home and a package arrives . Maybe have it delivered to your place of work it that’s an option . People practicing socialism ‘‘Tis the season”

it just amazes me that people are willing to go to all the trouble to effectively steal what could be box full of foot powder. like you have no idea what it is.

They said that when building new homes, they are starting to see amazon rooms off to the side of the front door. basically a mail door that only the mail people can unlock and place your packages in there.

we live out in the boonies so it would take an infinite amount of boredom for someone to wait around to steal my wifes box of essential oils. but she also is a stay at home. pretty much most of my stuff comes to the office though.

mostly because i don't want my wife going, "oooohhhh what is thaaaattt ....looks like something we definitely needed. "

Until the laws are changed to make petty theft, stealing cars, and telemarketing calls, , a much harsher punishment, the boldness will get bigger.

And add driving slow in the left lane to that list, punishment by death!! Left lanes should only be used for overtaking. Simple law, maybe too simple.

Just read a good one about that, a woman stole a package and they found it along the road not far from where she stole it, she had stolen a package that had worms in it for a pet lizard!

My wife takes a nap on the porch everyday, but no takers yet. Maybe I need to put a bow on her?

UPS has a app for your smart phone that sends you a text and a email as soon as your package is delivered. A couple of weeks ago I had a tire I ordered online, UPS dropped it off next to my detached garage after dark and it happened to snow that night. I was looking all over for that tire the next day until I found it next to the garage covered with snow.

Its not only packages that are getting stolen. Here is letter mail that was rifled through. And a piece of tape added to “cover the crime”.
