Default Walleye Tournaments as a Co-Angler

Do walleye tournaments have co-anglers like bass tournaments do? It seems like the few I have watched on TV are teams that always fish together not a pro/co-angler.

There are two common walleye tournament formats

1) Team tournaments like the one you saw on TV. You most likely saw an MWC (masters walleye circuit) torunament on TV.

2) Pro-AM. These are Pro's matched with a CO angler. FLW (which folded at the end of this season), AIM, and the new cabelas series use this format

Tomorrow on NBC Sports is the FLW championship. This was the final FLW walleye pro/co event. Watch it and they will explain how the system works.

It doesn't show up on my listings for basic cable here in Port Clinton.

Ended up sitting in treestand Sunday afternoon with no success other than being cold. Anybody watch it and can explain what happened and is going to happen with the rules?
