Default Favorite Beer

I used to drink Miller 's, but that was a long time ago. My first different beer was Lienenkugle's Summer Shandy. Was in Minnesota eating dinner and decided, what the heck I'll give it a try. It was surprisingly good especially as a draft beer. Anyways, I have tried many beers. Shortly I moved on to some Stout beers. kBS is a good choice, abv is 12%.I have been drinking mostly Southern Tier. I can't drink much being diabetic, but If I'm going to a beer I want a beer that you can't see through and a high abv Southern Tier has some excellent brews. I like Nitro blackwater series. Really smooth with an abv of 10%. What's yours?

Cold Smoke Scottish Ale brewed in Missoula MT

If you like to try different brews, stores like Total Wines and more sell a LOT of different beers and many you can buy singles just to try them out.

I'm mostly an IPA drinker nowadays. Ode IPA, White Pine Project IPA and 17-7 IPA from Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors, MN are the ones I drink the most. Tailfeather IPA from Enki Brewery in Victoria, MN is also commonly in my garage fridge. When we're in Texas for the winter, there's Hopadillo IPA from Karbach brewing in Texas.

Wish that Lienenkugle's Summer Shandy was available all year!

North Coast Old Stock Ale is as good as beer gets, IMHO.

Bud Light on the rare occasions that I drink beer. Not a fan of the new micro brewery concoctions but my son-in-law is really into them!!!

Glad you and others enjoy Summer Shandy. Probably me least favorite of any beer but I think I am in the minority. I really don’t have a favorite beer but I drink more IPAs than anything these days. Certain places scream certain beers to me. At one local place, it seems wrong to drink anything but a Miller High Life while up the road it needs to be an IPA. Go figure.
