Wood in boats =rot eventually.
Many Lund models are wood free.
Some since the 2016 model year.

Lots of new boats on the market these days in both aluminum and glass models that use 0 wood in their construction.

No need to purchase future troubles.

You may not be a "Lund expert"... but you have always been pretty darn astute.
You are correct...2017 saw a lot of models switched away from wood. None have wood transoms the past few years but that was phased in 2016-2017-2018. model years (The skiffs were last to switch)
However, the aluminum Bass models have never had any wood in (came out in 2106)
The Renegades have Aluminum transoms, The Pro V Bass models have composite.
The glass Lunds have never had wood.

As mentioned nothing has wood transoms anymore.
Nowadays the Alaskans and fishboats can be purchased with no wood floors/seats if you wish. .. with lifetime warranty on either...whether you choose wood or composite .

PS: Are you running Evinrude nowadays...K?
