The Troll Master app allows you to enter any size weight, any speed, any leader length, choose from a wide selection of mono, braid, leadcore, etc.

Since the OP says his lure gets down to 20 ft he must be using the deep tail dancer TDD-09. If that's the case, the Precision Trolling app does indeed show snap weight depths too.

I think it is tough to keep up with all the updates for new lures and features in the PTD App. Getting the lifetime option years back is the best App bargain I have found! Bob

You have to scroll back up to the "D's" under Deep Tail Dancer. You probably scrolled down right by it to the "T's"

One note - when using the Troll Master app, the calculated line length does not include the leader length.

The first image shows the first run - 10 lb mono with a 25 ft leader and a 20 ft target depth. The second image shows the answer for this run - 97 ft of line (from the rod tip to the start of the leader). The third image shows the same inputs but with a 2 ounce trolling weight.

My app does all the math for you. Just enter your rig & click calculate!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Trevor

Hi Trevor, I never heard of your product until Juls mentioned it. Since then I have been on YouTube add your channel, downloaded and brought your product. Currently I have 5 lures downloaded! I totally appreciate what you created and how you researched this. I have shared with so many fishing budies in Canada they have all downloaded your app and bought "lures" in the app. You process can't be denied thats for sure. This could be the game changer for me in 2021. Now I am waiting for two things, 1) my boat to arrive from Low and 2) May 1 my area opens for Walleye! Thanks Trevor

Hello - you might have my app (the Troll Master app) confused with the Precision app.

My app is the Troll Master Depth Calculator app. With my app you get access to data on 7 lures for free, and if you purchase an upgrade (either a subscription or the lifetime license) you get access to data on over 100 lures.

The big difference between the two apps is that my app uses a physics based calculation. This lets you vary line type, leader length, speed, trolling weight, etc.. as desired and the app will still find a solution.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Trevor

Wow this forum is great. I got my snap weights from Snakebite and now I am downloading these apps. I feel I will really have an advantage this season. Thanks everyone for the info.
