How was the MN fishing opener this year
I used to travel every year to MN for the fishing opener. I'm curious how the opener went in general.

Big state, lots of lakes.
I would guess some areas were good, others average and others poor for whatever reasons. Not trying to be a wiseguy but areas are different as are the fishing skills of the anglers. I have heard the Kab. area was great. But I know a few groups thought it only average at best. I heard Mille Lacs was really good. Everybody I know made it up and back safe and had a good time which is the main goal I guess. Besides..........how many fisherman do you know that are liars?

I didn't go out because it is just too **** busy on most lakes near me. However one of my co-workers did really well up on Leach. Not sure exactly where he was fishing on the lake. He did get into a good mess of crappies as well.
