If you were caught with a concealed weapon what’s the worst Reeds can do to you.....ask that you leave. Do they frisk you as you enter.....LOL
Yup, that is about all they can do, ask you to leave. If you refuse, then you can get in to trouble.
Soooooo..... OP is shopping at Reeds again???
Yup, most likely I will. There are some businesses I must frequent for one reason or another, that I know are anti 2nd amendment, but it has never stopped me from carrying in those businesses anyway.
If I stopped patronizing every establishment where the beliefs of the ownership/management did not align with mine...

People need to grow up already.

For the record I own, am permitted, and at times carry but I'm not so insecure that I have to be armed to enter an establishment.
I can't imagine how exhausting it must be for some people to keep track of where they can shop, eat, or what music they can listen to. Even if reeds still had the sign up it's not like they are saying "you savage gun owners need not enter". Everybody is way too all or nothing these days.

Concealed means concealed. While I tend to reject places with those signs I don't abide them if I choose to enter.
I just returned from the REEDS store on Mile Lacs , The sign was not up , I asked about it and was told the Sign was a local decision and ownership in Walker ordered it taken down about an hour ago. So it was up it was apparently not Company authorized and is currently down . Thanks to the poster that made us all aware if this the owners were made aware it and elected to remove the sign. As to my Rights Trumping some one elses, those are your words not mine , My my rights are same as yours. The business owner may choose to post no guns but there may be consequences as We do not have to patronize those businesses that for what ever reason we choose not to.[/QUOTE

Well said and didn't have to say CRAP once..

This sure brought out a lot of opinions!
Only unfortunate thing is whoever posted the sigh could of backed up his/her decision
by adding...... ALL GUNS AND AMMO 75% OFF..... almost forgot electronics also.
Wonder where they are working now?

Considering that in 2017 there were appox 16,358,844 carry permits nation wide and appox 280,000 of them in Minn.
I'd think posting a "Bans gun" sign in a sporting good store might be more than a bit detrimental to sales.

Their choice though.

Just as it's our choice to do business with them.

Not right or wrong, free choice.

When possible I'll not do business in a store that bans guns, their right to keep guns out of their store is given, legal or otherwise.
As is my right to do business with them.
Not always an option, but when I can, I do.

I prefer to carry to protect my wife (who also carries) or myself.
I can legally do this, so I do.

At 71 I am more a target than I ever was, and resources to defend myself from attack
are limited now.

You don't want to carry?
Don't.
Don't want guns in your store?
I'll respect that and go elsewheres

Not right or wrong, just personal choices.

Al

I'd tend to disagree with you.
Companies make many decisions on custom attitude.

Al...who don't own any Nike to burn, on or off his feet
