Default Perch rod

I am looking for a ice fishing perch rod, reel combo, light action many of our lakes are crystal clear.
Max $50, glancing at Fleet farm I see a Fenwick Nighthawk combo light action 26 inch.
Retiring soon and will be doing more perching than in the past. I have a light/medium and medium combo already (dirt cheap rigs) looking to upgrade. Thoughts? I welcome your favorite
set up but again looking for light action due to clear water use.

I have a Fenwick Elite Tech Ice rod that I really like. I paired it with a Phlueger reel and really like it. I myself would not choose a glass rod for perching. I would want graphite for the sensitivity.

Default Not a combo, but for a rod...

Lots of good rods out there, and I certainly haven't tried them all, but I'm a huge fan of my "Snitch" rod from 13 Fishing for perch and gills.

It's very light, plenty long with a super sensitive tip, but it gets into plenty of backbone for perch/gills just down from the flexy tip. I haven't fished with anything better personally. The tip lets you see bites like a spring bobber. but the hookset is amazing. I use 1 lb test line and this rod "fights" fish beautifully. It's about $35. Highly recommend.

I bought 2 Snitch combo's from Reeds today at $55 a pop (sale) appreciate the recommendation.
Both are 25 inch light action, just what I was looking for. Charlie
