Default Luna Pier

Spoke with 3 different guys today about Luna Pier(MI). All were saying that they caught walleye Tues - 2/3, about 1.5 miles offshore. Just before the first pressure crack. All said at least 10" of ice.
I may give it a try instead of Catawba or Camp Perry on Friday. C what the weather(read wind)does.

Default RE: Luna Pier

That would be nice, as I haven't heard anything about Luna Pier in a couple of years. I looked at it Sun. and the ice looked like it had been pushed around - and I only saw 2 guys out about 500 yards. Please post if you hear anymore. Thanks

Default RE: Pike

Hi - do any MI guys fish pike through the ice nearshore on erie? Is there enough of them to target? Any tidbit/guesses on population density will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Silentsixty
