Friend of mine still uses an 1198 from the start(first released).I almost got the Onix 10,but the HDS Gen2 seemed like a better bet at the time(2013).Solix seems like it is much improved over Onix,and I prefer having touch screen.

I got off the "new electronics tread mill long ago" let the the new introduction be out in use for a year or so to get the bugs worked out.

My two cents....the HB GN4 was introduced to appeal to new users in the blue/salt water markets with feature's that will appeal to the inland waters fisherman.
