Oh man, you guys are not painting a good picture for me! I bought my Nitro on 2/24. They were saying late April or early May delivery. It sounds like that is a fantasy!

I kind of had a different experience on my recent order and got some info from my dealer. I was asking about the lead times on Lund's and was told that 2021 was full and 2022 deliveries would likely be stopped by July. Anything placed after that, would likely be for a 2023 delivery date. I was told that for a while, dealers were being given very limited "standard" packages to order for themselves, and only custom order boats were being taken for the most part.

I was offered the opportunity to modify one of the two open orders that the dealer had placed back in September 2021, with an estimated delivery date of May/June. Basically, Lund hadn't started the build yet and changes could be made if I got on it. I took that offer and re-spec'd the boat to my preferences and they resubmitted the order to Lund.

Just one of those things where I got lucky in making my order in March with an estimated May/June delivery. I honestly expect a delay given things, but having a boat this year will be a plus!

Interrupted or re-sequenced maufacturing process due to part supply can lead to issues in a production factory. Hope the quality is there upon delivery.

I was very unhappy with the long wait I had after ordering my boat early last year. Sounds like I was actually fortunate compared to this year.

I hope for the sake of everyone affected that things speed up soon - and I feel sure that you'll find your boats worth waiting for!

I ordered my Princecraft in October and it arrived last Friday. As said earlier, now the hard part is finding electronics.

Is it the same for outboards?
I just heard another dealers showroom was empty. All sold only work they are doing now is rigging as new boats come in that were ordered. Best of Luck hope it comes as promised.
