I would like to suggest when this mess is over whenever that is that this post have a few of the 'lists' of refund vs no refund be shortened to just the one final list. Right now if you search for lodges / camps by name the first 20 or so posts comes up with this thread. Really annoying if you just want fishing reports or other camp info.

Echoing is very difficult to contact in the best of times. Based on a previous conversation with Issac here is a bit of what I learned. They need tribal council approval/Govt funding to open and that usually comes after the first of the year. I know one group is desperately trying to confirm a slot for 2021 and another group trying to rebook a 2020 trip. Neither one has been able to contact them lately. I spoke with them last in July. Anyway I doubt we get resolution on their status anytime soon.

While I've had two brief contacts w/Issac from Echoing, it has been a more of a lip service and nothing has been accomplished concerning my moving dates from '21 to '22. Also have tried to contact the owner of the camp on multiple attempts through a variety of methods and zero response. FYI!

I have been going to Crawford’s Camp at Sioux Narrows for several years now. Matt contacted me right away and asked what suited me and my schedule better.. He was all about me and my trip even in this friggn mess... Were rolled over into 2021… Thanks Matt !!!

I was just surprised there were no more responses after my post from Crawford's Camp...

I truly wish the best for all the outfitters and resorts in Canada... I have been to a few and have never ever had a bad trip... I hope and pray this "what ever you want to call it" goes away just as fast as it showed it's ugly self

I've been to Camp Narrows on the north arm of Rainy 10+ times. Tom just rolled our deposit over to '21 same week. We always have a good time there and he treats like family.

*In light of the change of their policy and an additional requirement to bring new deposit money to secure a reservation for 2021, it should be noted that Clark's had previously stated that they would not be operating in 2021 if they had to roll over 2020 deposits. Caveat emptor.
