Take them to a bearing supply house when you have them out for service and match them up. You can get better quality for less money than a dealer. It's amazing how many trailers use these.

Hey, I just went through all of this on my 2008 Reata. Call Ranger and they can tell you what you need off your serial number from your trailer, order a spare from them. I am guessing you have vortex hubs that are grease sealed. You can order an entire hub and spindle for around 110 and 150 if it is the brake hub you order. This is a complete swapable hub if you had problems on the road.

I have a new hub for my boat now, and I pulled a hub off to get the bearings part numbers and seals then ordered them from Ranger as spares. Stupid thing is that the bearings and the races came just loose in a box which means rust. So I bagged them up and put oil all over them to keep them from rusting.

Big tip if you have all your part numbers. Call Waymire Distribution and not Ranger, they carried everything! I broke a oil hub cap and stopped at their facility in Indianapolis and had two new in minutes as well as some picture sharing with the young man that helped me LOL.

Turbo Lube hub caps and Vortex Hub caps are the same thread! I had to use the vortex cap rigged a bit to limp to Indy.

2008 Reata with oil bath hub part numbers. I believe these are still the same numbers used with vortex hubs but you will need to verify that. Dexter is vortex and Dexter bought turbo lube I believe.

Seal: 171255UC
Inner bearing: L68149

Outer bearing: L44649
Outer Race: L44610
Vortex hub cap: 48355V black cap

Those numbers match those I pulled from my boat, however, the seal they include is bigger at 2.565, the one I had in my post is 2.555 and it doesn't seem like a lot but I ordered that exact seal from e trailer and sent it back as I could have pounded it in but I likely couldn't have gotten it out. It was not rubber coated either, just steal unlike my picture.

i had to do a bearing job on 1 wheel already. was not impressed. took the hub cap off and the dust cover was laying in there. grease all over the tire. wheel wiggled. i dont get this, the thing has easy lube spindles but no grease zerks are there. the grease was very thin and runny. i replaced the bearings, seal, and put in a zerk and a different style dust cap and rubber plug. why do none of the spindles have grease zerks and really thin grease? i put in red and tacky.
