Default 959ci HD DI Combo high speed transducer

Just purchased a humminbird 959 ci hd di. It came with a standard down imaging transducer. Will this still give me depth readings at higher speeds or will i have to look at a high speed transducer? Which one if so?

If the stock XNT 9 DI T is mounted at a point on your transom such that it's actually in the water as your boat rises up on plane, it will indeed obtain high speed depth readings ...

This means the face of the xducer must be below the blue lines in the illustration ...
