Hi guys, wondering what anyone can tell me about Vermillion, Sd. Want to make a few summer trips up there this year and just wondering what kind of lures, techniques you guys use. Or should i go further north?

For sure after walleyes! Just moved to Omaha. Fishing sucks around here. Getting a new motor put on up in Vermillion at the Lund shop there. Thought id spend the day figuring out where to fish up around there. I used to fish the mississippi and had a ton of fun fishing that. Figured it would be about the same techniques. Got some spots in Minnesota but would like to find something closer. Thanks for the replys!!!

You must be going to Mart's Marine in Vermillion,
Ask Doug and see what he says for around there.
River is pretty tough with a nice walleye boat if you do not know it..

Best areas in June and July are dams above I-90
Early spring Chamberlain area...

Mart's Marine are great people. Doug will be able to give you some pointers. He grew up on the river when not working in the shop.

You have some good advice here. Send me a PM for more detailed info.
